Around 6:36 am MRW 550 called in a car accident on Hwy 78 near mile marker 20. This accident was a rollover with ejection and we are sad to report a fatality. MRW fire and EMS extends our deepest sympathies

Around 7:00pm MRW Fire was paged out for traffic control in assistance of MRW QRU for a motorcycle accident on Hwy 78. Units Responding: QRU, Marsing Ambulance, Owyhee County Sheriff, Brush 563, Life Flight and POV.

At 11:16 am MRW fire was paged out for a wild fire off of one of the trail heads on Upper Reynolds Creek. MRW assisted BLM with controlling the fire line and putting out hot spots. Units Responding: Fast Attach

Around 12:15am, MRW Fire was paged out for multiple wild fire calls caused by the lighting storm. Once the location was found, the crews had to walk a mile due to rough terrain to put out hot spots. Units Responding:

MRW Fire responded to a structure fire at 1:45am north of Givens Hot Springs. The structure was saved in part due to good Samaritans using a garden hose while waiting for Fire to arrive. Units Responding: Engine 502, Quick Attack
