October 14, 2016 – Vehicle Fire

The morning around 7:16am MRW Fire was paged out for a vehicle fire located 2 miles up whiskey mountain road. Upon arrival, crews found a brush fire smoldering and a vehicle on fire. Crews proceeded to extinguish the vehicle fire as well as containing and brining the brush fire under control. Once the fire was out, crews utilized a winch to clear the vehicle from the road, removed debris and cooled the area to prevent rekindling.
