MRW Fire was paged out for two lightning-caused brush fires at approximately 6:30pm on Friday, July 28. The fires were located at Chaulky Butte off of Upper Reynolds Creek Road and Murphy Flats. 
Units Responding to the Chaulky Butte fire include: Tactical Tender 523, Tender 527, Brush 564, Quick Attack 566 and POVs, as well as Owyhee RFPA, US Forestry and several BLM units.
Units Responding to the Murphy Flats fire include: Engine 501, Tender 521, Brush 561, Heavy Brush 562, and Brush 563, as well as numerous BLM engines, dozers, air support and ground crews. Heavy Brush 562 remained on scene after the rest of MRW Fire units were released to assist the BLM crews.
