June 6, 2016 – Brush Fire

MRW Fire was paged out for mutual aid with BLM at 4:05pm off Murphy Flat road. The fire was located in the canyon by the pump station on the south side of the Snake river. Due to rough terrain, BLM had to hike into the fire. MRW job was to provide coverage incase the fire crested onto Murphy flats.

Units Responding: Command 550, Brush 561, 563, Heavy Brush 562, Tender 521, Tactical Tender 523, 2- BLM Engines, Smoke Jumpers, BLM Command and Air Support.
