Last Saturday, August 1, at 11:23 A.M. MRW fire was paged to a mutual aid call to assist the Marsing Fire Rural Department and BLM with a fire off of Sommer Camp Road. According to BLM Dispatch, quick action by MRW Firefighters kept the fire to 15 acres

Units Responding: Brush 561, Heavy Brush 562, Tactical Tender 523, Tender 527, 3 BLM engines, 1 BLM water tender, 1 hand crew, and associated overhead incident commander. Aircraft included 1 air attack, 1 helicopter, and 2 single engine tankers. Eagle Fire Department also provided 1 bulldozer.
